Should I Surf is a paid personal surf decision service from SHOULD I LTD, a Scottish company (SC902232). Registered office: 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, United Kingdom, EH2 4AN. These terms cover shouldi.surf and the app. Privacy is separate, at the privacy policy. Questions: hello@shouldi.surf.
We help you decide whether to surf, where, and why, using live conditions plus the spots, boards, and sessions you save. Verdicts are decision support. They are not a promise about the water, your safety, or the session you will have. Always check current conditions, local guidance, and your own ability before you paddle out.
You must be 16 or over. Keep your login to yourself.
What you save is yours. We use it to personalise your verdicts. We do not publish your spots or put them on a public map.
This is a subscription, not a free app. Founding price is £4.99 a month, billed monthly. You enter card details when you start. You are not charged for 14 days. The first charge is when that trial ends, unless you cancel first.
If your trial passes without a single GO at your spots, we may extend it by another 14 days, once, and email you. We do this because we do not want to charge for a surf forecast through a flat spell.
After that, the subscription renews monthly until you cancel. Cancel in the app or through Stripe. Cancel stops the next charge.
Payments are taken by Stripe. The name on the charge is whatever Stripe shows at checkout. SHOULD I LTD is the company behind the product. Card billing is still moving under the company, so do not assume the company name is on the charge until checkout says so.
We do not promise refunds for unused time. This does not affect your statutory rights.
You can delete your account in the app. Deleting cancels any Stripe subscription so it does not renew, then removes your profile, spots, sessions, and chats, with the limits in the privacy policy.
We can update the service and these terms. If a change is material we will give notice.
